Busy city life and imbalance in work can cause stress and the feeling of being overwhelmed. Certainly, people deal with it in different ways. “Seaside” is a musical journey that entails multiple styles and diverse layers of sound. It embeds thought processes and lines out a meditation-like experience at the Seaside to cope with tension and stress.
Staring at the movement of water and clouds can have tremendous effects for the mind and soul. Starting with the track "Overthinking", the album pulls you through multiple experiences and feelings within the music.
Feelings ranging from "Stress", distractions all the way to loved ones and compassion are addressed within the album and are brought to light in an instrumental fashion with "nice guitar melodies and versatile drums" and are spiced up "with synth sounds and sporadically used vocals" (Beat-Lover).
The concept of the album is to find peace of mind and a new way of thinking to finally be "Shifting Layers", as the last track of the album indicates.
"He layers smooth synths, lush guitars and soulful keys over the swinging drums to give it that undeniable human touch."
"A very laid-back, soothing vibe made with smooth, lush keys and pads peppered by an ethereal vocal chop that blends in really nice."
